I have always been a creative problem-solver, and design gave me the tools to turn that instinct into a professional craft.
Before I knew what design was, I was already living it: making painted pinecones, plastic jewelry, and hand-sewn Halloween costumes with my grandmother. She gave me a lifelong love of craft, personalization, and expressive visual details.
I earned a cosmetology degree in 2007 and spent years solving creative problems on the human head: balancing color, proportion, texture, client expectations, and individual identity. After COVID-19 shuttered my business, I returned to school for design and found a language for what I had always been doing: using creativity to solve problems.
As a designer, I bring an intuitive eye for the defining details others overlook. My work translates personality and visual character into identities that feel distinctive, expressive, and unique. That instinct is why I call myself Mystic Munson: I reveal the magic that makes something special.
